Johan Santana

After making many met fans nervous for the past 73.5 hours, Johan Santana and the New York Mets came to terms on a record breaking deal. The deal which was just announced 30 minutes ago is for seven years and 150.75 million dollars. It must feel nice to wake up in the morning and know all you have to do is pass a physical to make 150 million dollars. The MLB had to grant an extra two hours past the original 72 hour window they were given so the two sides could continue negotiating. It must feel nice for his agent too who just made 15 million dollars after his 10% cut. It is a good day for met fans knowing that they have the best pitcher in baseball for the next seven years.
